Nichole Lauren Fry is an represented abstract oil artist who currently resides in Newport beach, California. When she was a young girl she attended The National Museum of Art in Washington D.C. She fell in love with the works of Mark Rothko. The simplicity and depth of his work spoke volumes to her. She steadily grew to love the arts. She studied Art History and Business at California State University, Sacramento and has been an active participant in local art shows and exhibits since 2007. In 2014, she had the honor to host her first solo show at the Tim Collom Gallery where she was then offered a permanent artist position. She paints with the sole intention of accenting a room, whether it be a home, corporate environment, hotel or restaurant. Her work can be found in over 150 collector's homes throughout California, Arizona, Texas and Oregon. She has also had to the honor to be featured in such publications such as Style Magazine and Sacramento News and Review. Her abstract work can be seen in places such as The Artists' Collaborative Gallery, The Tim Collom Gallery, Tyche Fine Art Gallery, Intel, Piatti Sacramento, The Red Lion Hotel, W.J. Bradley Mortgage, Stone & Graves of Gold River, JKB Financial of Roseville, Reunion Nightclub of El Dorado Hills. Future endeavors include collaborations with local galleries and shows to invite the community to experience her passion on canvas.
